Answers to common questions about ordering, delivery, returns, payment, and the products in our store.

Do you ship outside the United States?

No. Ethiopian Bible Shop currently ships to the United States only. Checkout will not normally accept an unsupported destination.

How much is standard shipping?

Standard shipping to eligible United States addresses is free for all products unless a product page expressly states otherwise.

What is the order cutoff time?

The daily order cutoff is 2:00 p.m. Europe/Berlin time, which is Central European Time or Central European Summer Time (CET/CEST), depending on the date.

How long does order processing take?

Normal processing and handling time is 1 business day. The minimum and maximum handling time in our current shipping setting are both 1 business day.

How long does shipping transit take?

Estimated carrier transit time is 2-10 business days after carrier handoff.

What is the total estimated delivery time?

The total estimate is 3-11 business days: 1 business day handling plus 2-10 business days transit. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding applicable public holidays and carrier closures.

Will I receive tracking?

When tracking is available, it is normally sent after shipment to the email address or phone number provided at checkout. The first carrier scan may take additional time to appear.

Can I change my address or cancel an order?

Contact support immediately. We will try to help, but a change or cancellation is not guaranteed after processing or shipment has started.

What if tracking shows delivered but I cannot find the parcel?

Review the carrier details and check the mailbox, parcel locker, safe location, household members, neighbors, building staff, and local carrier facility. If the parcel is still missing, contact us with your order number.

What if my order is delayed?

If the 3-11 business day estimate has passed, contact us with the order number. We will review available tracking information and, where appropriate, request a carrier or fulfillment inquiry.

What is the return window?

You may request an eligible return within 90 calendar days after delivery.

Do you accept returns for non-defective products?

Yes. We accept returns for defective and non-defective products. A voluntary non-defective return must meet the new-product condition requirements in the Return and Refund Policy.

Who pays voluntary return shipping?

For a voluntary return of a non-defective product, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return label.

Do you accept opened or used products?

The current policy accepts new products only for voluntary returns. A defective, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect item is handled separately and is not excluded merely because it had to be opened for inspection.

Do you offer exchanges?

No. We do not accept exchanges. Return the eligible original product and place a separate new order if you want another item.

Is there a restocking fee?

No. We do not charge a restocking fee for an eligible return.

How are returns sent?

Returns are sent by mail after customer support provides authorization and mailing instructions. Do not send a package to the public business address unless support expressly confirms it for that return.

How long does a refund take?

After an authorized return is received, inspected, and approved, we process the refund within 5 business days. The bank or payment provider may require additional time to post it.

What if an item is defective, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect?

Contact support promptly with the order number, description, and photographs where appropriate. Wait for case-specific instructions before purchasing return postage.

Which payment methods can I use?

The store currently displays American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, Maestro, Mastercard, PayPal, Shop Pay, UnionPay, and Visa. The methods available for a specific order are the methods shown at checkout.

When do I pay?

Payment is submitted through the official Shopify checkout. The order is complete only after checkout confirms it.

What currency does the store use?

The store currency is United States dollars (USD).

How do I know what is included with a product?

Review the individual product title, description, images, format, and inclusion details before ordering. If a specific edition, language, book list, digital item, or physical inclusion is important and unclear, contact us before purchase.

Is Ethiopian Bible Shop affiliated with a church or official publisher?

We do not claim a church endorsement, government affiliation, or exclusive publisher status unless a product page provides independently verifiable details. Ethiopian Bible Shop is operated by Rolf Beck E-Commerce.
